It was for the first time in the history of GIT that a cultural club was outlined. The chief guest for this event was senior co- editor of Loksatta newspaper Mr. Abhijit Behlekar.

The inauguration of this club was held on 19 August 2011. The program was started by inaugurating the notice board of cultural club. It was followed by the brief introduction of the club by Chairman Mr. Sudesh Ayare.

Then our beloved Trustee Dr. Gokhale sir inspired us to actively participate in the event through his speech.

Mr. Behlekar works on topic “Museums in Maharashtra” he has gathered a lot of information on it. He had shared many aspects of museums with the audience.
