Gharda Institute of Technology (GIT) has an active institute membership and student chapter of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) from 2010 & 2012 respectively. The ISTE student chapter promotes technical education and provides students with opportunities for professional development. The GIT ISTE chapter organizes various co-curricular activities to enhance students’ skills and foster a culture of technical excellence.

Gharda Institute of Technology (GIT) has an institute membership of The Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI) from 2019. Under the IEI membership institute arranges various workshops and technical programs. GIT has actively associated with IEI Belapur section and organised various activities.
